What you never want to do when your amp makes no sound!

If you turn on your tube amp and don’t hear any sound (not even noise), NEVER crank up your volume and start playing. Your speaker cabinet may not be connected and by pushing your amp to full power you may blow up your output transformer, which is a very costly thing to replace. If you hear no sound, first check if a speaker cabinet is connected. If you still hear nothing, it’s a good idea to check your guitar and then gradually move through the signal chain.
